Luke Bryan, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and Carrie Underwood were the big country winners at the 40th Annual American Music Awards.


 •Luke won his first AMA for Favorite Country Male Artist, while Taylor nabbed her 11th for Favorite Country Female Artist.
•Favorite Country Band, Duo or Group went to Lady Antebellum, and Carrie's Blown Away album won Favorite Country Album.
•Luke made sure to thanks his better-half in his first AMA acceptance speech, stating, "I want to thank my wife for letting me be a big kid out on the road playing shows...This is a fan-voted award. And for some reason I've always been really, really lucky with fan-voted awards. It means the world to me. Guys, thanks for making this happen for me."
•T thanked her legions of fans for their continued support, saying, "You guys are the ones who voted on this, and you have made this an amazing couple of weeks for me with Red coming out. We just put some of the dates on sale for the tour, and you guys sold them out in minutes...I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm really, really happy right now, and it's all because of you. "
•Lady A's Charles Kelley said, "We’re going to dedicate this to the over 1 million fans who came out to see us this year on the road. This was our first ever headlining tour. This is because of you guys."
•Winning her fourth Favorite Country Album AMA, Carrie said, "This means so much to me because I really am so very proud of this album. I'd like to thank God for giving me the love for music and inspiration to make this album and for giving me the most amazing fans in the entire universe. I couldn’t love my life any more than I do right now."
•Carrie and Taylor premiered their respective new songs "Two Black Cadillacs" and "I Knew You Were Trouble." Kelly Clarkson performed a four-song medley of hits "Miss Independent," "Since U Been Gone," "Stronger" and current single "Catch My Breath." Luke, Florida Georgia Line, Lady A and Hayden Panettiere also presented during the telecast.
