Scotty McCreery is turning his Christmas show in New York City on Friday into a fund raiser for victims of Hurricane Sandy in New York and New Jersey. The show is now being called Beacon Theater Benefit for Hurricane Sandy Relief. Scotty will donate a portion of the proceeds to World Vision's efforts to help storm victims.

Scotty says, "Being from North Carolina, I have seen firsthand what hurricanes can do. After seeing the devastation caused by Sandy, I wanted to figure out a way to help."
