The hacktivist group known as Anonymous has taken on the Westboro Baptist Church after the group announced on Saturday that they would picket at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, where 20 children and six adults were shot to death on Friday.

Anonymous accused Westboro of "breeding hatred" and added, "We will destroy you. We are coming." They also reportedly published e-mail and home addresses and the phone numbers of various Westboro Baptist Church members.

The Westboro group is known for protesting military funerals and calling tragedies such as mass shootings as God's punishment for supporting gay people.
