The final numbers are in -- Jake Owen’s hometown benefit concert in Vero Beach, Florida raised $125,000 for the Jake Owen Foundation over the weekend. All proceeds will support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and local youth organizations, including Autism Speaks and the Mardy Fish Foundation.
He says, “A huge thank you to everyone in Vero Beach Saturday night for an awesome show and helping us raise money for such a great cause. I can’t think of a better way to end the CMT tour and this amazing year!”
The show was the final date of the CMT on Tour, which included openers Florida Georgia Line and Love and Theft. More than 6200 fans turned out for the gig.
