Taylor Swift has donated 2,000 books to the hospital where she was born. T made the donation to the Reading Hospital Child Health Center through the national Reach Out and Read initiative, which promotes early childhood literacy by carrying new books in pediatric exam rooms. After each visit, the Reading facility gives each child (up to five-years old) a new, age-appropriate book for their home library.

Contact Music also reports that T is wishing for a quiet life and insists that only place you’ll find her partying is in concert. She says, “I’m not a party girl. I love performing onstage, that’s where I can really come alive and get a bit wild, but in private I want to live more quietly. I want to live a good life, make good choices, and be good to the people I love and stay close to my friends.”
Taylor is due in Madrid this week for Wednesday’s 40pp Awards.
