The strong storm system that forecasters have been warning about is making itself apparent -- with deadly consequences.

At least one person is dead in Adairsville, Georgia after a tornado touched down. According to CNN, cars are strewn across Interstate 75, and at least one home has been destroyed. Two other tornadoes have been reported in Georgia, and another is suspected to have struck overnight near Nashville, Tennesse.

The system is forecast to move eastward today, wreaking havoc along the Mid-Atlantic.
