One of the toughest questions for every bride....just HOW do I choose the perfect wedding dress?
Choosing the perfect wedding dress has always been one of the top priorities for brides.
TV series like "Say Yes to the Dress" and "Four Weddings" can provide useful tips about how to choose your wedding dress. Not to mention, we get to sit back, relax, and "oohhh" and "ahhh" over the wedding details of others.
Every bride's style, taste for fashion and body shape is different from the next. This creates a need for the endless number of gowns that brides come across.
However, with so many to choose from, how exactly can we find THE perfect dress? How do we know which dress is the best to begin a new life in? Ballroom dress, mermaid style, strapless, beaded, the options to choose from are endless!
Luckily your questions about choosing YOUR perfect wedding dress will be answered at This Year's Show!
Bridal Maison has arranged for Tina Campbell with Sophia & Camilla Bridal Gowns (link to website: okbridalshowroom.com) to talk about what to look for when selecting a wedding dress.
When choosing the perfect wedding dress, professional advice is not always available, so you won't want to miss this opportunity!

Judy Lehmbeck of Judy Lehmbeck Bridal & Party will talk about the "5 Tips When Planning Your Wedding" at this year's Oklahoma City Bridal Show on Saturday, January 19.
When we spoke with Judy she told us that while the process of making each unique wedding a success is not so different, every couple and every wedding is unique.
Judy has planned hundreds of magical and dream-like weddings and knows the steps in which it takes to plan the perfect wedding for each couple she works with. Her knowledge and expertise of the wedding planning process is inspiring. When asked her favorite part when planning a wedding, she replied, "the final outcome at the wedding ceremony and the ability to create beautiful weddings from various budgets, big or small."
What's Judy's NUMBER ONE TIP FOR PLANNING A WEDDING? You'll get a chance to find out when she gives her top five and answers your questions, Saturday, January 19 during the Oklahoma City Bridal Show at 50 Penn Place.

May it be a backyard, traditional or destination wedding, This Year’s Show will give you tips and ideas to make it a memorable celebration.
If you are looking to have a small ceremony with close friends and family a backyard wedding or destination wedding could be just what you need! Get crafty while decorating your back yard to express your unique style. Maybe you want a backyard themed wedding…perhaps a western theme? Nothing compliments a backyard wedding like cowboy boots, two-stepping and barbeque!
Not into country and western? What about a vintage or nautical themed wedding? Pair up a nautical themed wedding with a mermaid style, wedding gown! Or you can wear a simpler dress and jazz it up with nautical-like accessories.
However, you can never go wrong with a traditional style wedding. After all, for centuries, wedding ceremonies have been tradition all around the world! Not to mention, there is something special about starting your new life in the church you grew up in.
With the growing popularity of Pinterest and blogs, brides are given endless resources to plan and create a wedding on their very own. Do It Yourself (DIY) crafts are a great way to make your dream wedding come true..because you get to be in charge! If that isn't enough, DIY crafts are fun and AFFORDABLE!
One source we found for DIY ideas is the Perfect Wedding Guide. From creating hommeade wedding invites, preparing your own food and cakes, hair and makeup ideas, to decorating for the ceremony and reception...you'll find it on Perfect Wedding Guide's website.
Here are a few ideas from Perfect Wedding Guide to make your wedding unique:
"Weddings are continually evolving thanks to trends going in and out of style. However, when it finally comes to your wedding planning, you may be wondering how to make your event stand out among the many nuptials your friends and family attend. Here are a few unique wedding ideas for the bride- and groom-to-be who like to think outside the box."
1. Wild, just-picked wedding flowers

For the second year in a row, we are excited to announce Foever. For Real. as the presenting sponsor for The Show!
A little bit about Forever. For Real....
Forever. For Real. (FFR) is a program designed to build stronger families in
We got the chance to sit down with Lauren Mattox of FFR to learn about the workshops. She explained FFR is the only statewide program that provides this service, and "it is the longest running relationship building service in the country." ....IMPRESSIVE
We are lucky to have FFR kickoff The Show this year with a brief presentation about effective communcation and relationship building.
In addition, as presenting sponsor, FFR will generate additional interest for their workshop in February. Expecting nearly 2,000 people in three consecutive locations (two in oklahoma city and one in Tulsa) this will be one of their largest workshops yet.
WHAT MAKES A Forever For Real. WORKSHOP EFFECTIVE AND UNIQUE..?
The workshops are created to help build and maintain relationships. However, this is not to be confused with couples therapy or a counseling service. It is a series of exercises and techniques to help each individual couple.
As Mattox shared, "You will not be sharing with a table of people your most recent argument or what you think the positives and negatives of your relationship are."
The workshops focus on four areas of a relationship: communication and conflict management, preserving fun and friendship, staying committed and forgiveness. Because they focus on various aspects of a relationship, the workshops benefit couples of all ages and in any stage of a relationship.
....did I mention the workshops are free?!
Be sure to visit www.foreverforreal.com to learn more about how Forever. For Real. workshops can benefit you!
If you are a soon-to-be bride preparing for the big day, or if you appreciate the art and production of fashion and runway, you will NOT want to miss the bridal fashion show at This Year's Show, produced by Brink Model Management.
Gowns...tuxedos...fashion...three words every woman cannot resist when preparing to tie the knot with her significant other.
All the major and minor details that go into planning a wedding are exciting, fun and often at times, intimate. However, what is one major detail that usually lands near the top of every bride's list....choosing a wedding gown of course! After all the planning and tedious decision making, it is rewarding and deserving for every bride and groom to have all eyes on you as you take center stage at the alter.
Brink Model Management will produce this year's bridal fashion show. The show will showcase the latest trends, ideas and themes for brides, grooms and members of the wedding party. As this is the agency's third year to produce the fashion show, Brink Model Management is prepared to make this year's show more unique and diverse than before.
You may be wondering, how can a bridal show be described as unique? Well, Heather Rouba of Brink Model Management said, "Instead of the show being all about the gowns, it will be about the entire bridal experience."
This year, the fashion show will be divided into different themes, a few of which include, backyard wedding, cowboy wedding, vintage wedding and traditional wedding. Each theme will then include different attire, such as, bride/groom attire, bridal shower attire, rehearsal dinner attire, bridesmaid/groomsmen attire and more. This gives the agency the ability to showcase unique ideas and attire for all the major events in the wedding process. They expect these changes in the lineup to help the bride and groom think about the entire experience of the wedding process. This helps display the importance of every event leading up to the wedding day, in addition to the wedding ceremony itself. In result, you will collect great ideas to help you select the attire appropriate for you and your wedding party, while experiencing a bridal show unlike any other.
Brink Model Management is hallmarked by hardwork, professionalism and reliability. Such characteristics shine through in showcase production. The agencies employees and models also practice such work ethic. This makes the entire agency a joy to work with. No wonder they have been so successful after only three and a half years! Brink Model Management has clearly made a name for itself statewide, and is increasing it's name both nationally and internationally.
