We got the chance to sit down with Lauren Mattox of FFR to learn about the workshops. She explained FFR is the only statewide program that provides this service, and "it is the longest running relationship building service in the country." ....IMPRESSIVE
We are lucky to have FFR kickoff The Show this year with a brief presentation about effective communcation and relationship building.
In addition, as presenting sponsor, FFR will generate additional interest for their workshop in February. Expecting nearly 2,000 people in three consecutive locations (two in oklahoma city and one in Tulsa) this will be one of their largest workshops yet.
WHAT MAKES A Forever For Real. WORKSHOP EFFECTIVE AND UNIQUE..?
The workshops are created to help build and maintain relationships. However, this is not to be confused with couples therapy or a counseling service. It is a series of exercises and techniques to help each individual couple.
As Mattox shared, "You will not be sharing with a table of people your most recent argument or what you think the positives and negatives of your relationship are."
The workshops focus on four areas of a relationship: communication and conflict management, preserving fun and friendship, staying committed and forgiveness. Because they focus on various aspects of a relationship, the workshops benefit couples of all ages and in any stage of a relationship.
