With such a nice forecast here, it is weird to be spending so much time talking bad
weather! Coming from Oklahoma WILD WEATHER is no stranger to us, but it has
been so strange talking about such forceful winds, rain and flooding with what
was once called "Hurricane Sandy!" Plus in that same sentence,
mentioning fire and SNOW too?! Talk about wild! I don't know about you, but
even though it is not actually happening to us here in OKC, I still can't help
being glued to the stories, pictures and the video from the storm! Wondering
what I would do in their situation. So many in New Jersey, for instance,
decided to ignore the warnings and stay. Now they have to job of keeping not
only themselves, but their kids and pets safe! All the while, you certainly
feel for the many rescue workers that have to come into areas others are
fleeing from, to make their most heroic efforts to help these families.

We have family in these areas who thankfully, have reported they are safe. We are
grateful, but still, seeing the pictures it does make one wonder how those in
that area will ever rebuild, after what has been called the most EXPENSIVE
storm in US History!

Also, with the election a week away, wonder don't you wonder how this will affect
that very important event? Oh and the Holiday travel season is underway, if you
have plans to drive, with at least 4 refineries affected, yep.. You can imagine
gas prices will skyrocket!

Here are some pictures we've seen so far...

Yikes!  Thanks for sharing your pictures with us too!

Praying for the safety and blessings for all in the area, rescue and volunteer workers and yeah.. even for us here at home!

There have been some pretty scary and awful Hurricanes and stormes, but do you remember ever seeing anything like this in the US?
