Some know that we experienced an amazing Miracle 5 years ago! Cannot believe how fast time flies! After posting on Facebook, friends recommended I share on a larger scale, given my position, as it seems like many women can relate!
I have 3 kids, but 5 years ago in particular, the experience was something of a true Miracle! A perfectly normal pregnancy, followed by several traumatic minutes as we brought my precious son into the world with
an emergency C-section. 30 seconds to "deliver him" THANK GOD completely healthy! Then almost 2 hours to put me back together! I recall my husband holding the baby and saying tearfully "he's okay! Thank God, he's okay!" I began to cry and then soon after, I supposedly "crashed!" I remember only feeling no pain and seeing only a blank light (hard to explain) but felt complete peace, as I was CONNECTED 100% in prayer I believe, during the entire experience! I heard the medical folks' voices in and out and remembered feeling A LOT of pain for a while, then feeling actually complete peace and weirdly enough comfort! That experienced changed me so much! I see life so differently and cherish what God has blessed us with, more than words here or anywhere else can say! Tho I feel duty to proclaim, "He is sovereign!" If you knew how incredibly special my son is, it only compliments the understanding like Isaac, when we are willing to sacrifice all for Him, He gives far and away more than we can ever fathom! My son loves the Lord out loud, he has more compassion and heart than most adults and he is INCREDIBLY intelligent! The really cool part of this... My husband reminded me, our baby was born on 11-7-07 at precisely 11:07am! <><
