For our next "Great Mom Find" we are gonna talk Holiday Glamour! You know I have enjoyed time in front of the camera as well as behind the mic, and you're about to meet Lily of "Sooo Lilly Cosmetics" Located inside Kokapelli at Northpark Mall... She does our make up for TV and has even created her own make up line to rave reviews! I am always so proud of Oklahomans, especially women who are self-starters like this and make the most of their gifts and skills right here at home! Btw it's her birthday too, plus she's going to give someone who subscribes, shares & comments on my blog the GIFT!
If you're like me a make up counter is like a candy store! A little Holiday Glamor from my very own TV make up artist will spruce up any look for everyday or a big night out! This time of year moms in particular, are so busy being pulled from one place to another with not nearly enough time. Sound familiar?! Using any spare time to finish even one task becomes the norm, right?! For me sadly, that's after we get the kids to bed and hubby has found a football game to keep him occupied! So if it's sleep time we're loosing, you can bet those pesky dark circles under your eyes and tired lines and wrinkles are catching up! If your wishing more than anything, that they would go away before all the holiday parties and all the beautiful gatherings, Lilly's your girl!
I would go to the TV station directly after getting off the air, here at the Twister. Keep in mind, I start my day at 4 AM! You can imagine by the time the TV show started my makeup was all that kept me from looking like a ghost of Kathi Yeager's past! I bet Lilly thought she was a dang magician some days! Ha Ha
What I have always loved about her makeup is that it's light yet it's got staying power and talk about a smooth and natural finish… I've always loved the way I look after coming out of her chair! I know she'd love for you to let her or her incredible staff of extremely talented make up artists show you how you can go from day to night or in my case... Exhausted to Vibrant! ;)
This foundation is one of my favorites! Wonderful for so many different things! Some of the girls I did TV with, got those red areas on their face, but you'd never know it with this product! Yet you don't need a stinkin' putty knife to remove your make up, which is so amazing! It looks natural and you are actually doing something good for your skin when you wear it too! Between skin moisurizers and SPF, it enhances your face and keeps your look fresh, while conditioning your skin!
Man! I sound like a commercial! But she isn't paying me anything, nor have I received anything free... It's just one mom to another hoping to help you make a great discover and take care of you a bit more!
