So what's the craziest thing you've done today?
For me, going in and having a bite at Mimi's probably took a turn for the weird, as far as they may be concerned. 

How many times have you been to a restaurant and thought, "Hey, those plates are super cute! I wish we had some like that?!" And then  you search for the closest look alike, with no success? I hear stories like that all the time! 

When we were just in Las Vegas doing our show,  we ate at a place called Bastida's Hole In The Wall Italian… They had the cutest little wine glasses! So authentic... You know the kind.... Like if you were to eat at Giada DeLaurentiis's house, she'd surely have a set of glasses like these! Once again,  I have yet to see them or anything like them ever again! So I thought what the heck… This time I'm going for it!

Having lunch there yesterday, I spoke to the manager, Buddy who turns out to be a really cool guy and fits his name well! He didn't mind my crazy sense of humor and didn't throw me out on my ear when I asked if I could just buy some of these plates that I had been admiring since before Thanksgiving! 

Sure they're known for great having delicious home cooking and great customer service but, yeah I bought some freaking dishes from them! They're cute and I'll be the only one on my block with them.
