Is it me or does the world seem more and more like a movie everyday?

Sadly how much of the fact that movies and TV help glorify some of these events help future ones unfold right in front of our eyes? 

Case in point that ex-LA cop that went on a shooting spree and ended up going down "In A Blaze Of Glory."  It's obviously not his glory, however can you believe this crazed cop killer had a cheering section as the events unfolded?  WHA?!  

But what about those we cannot control..  Russians are picking up the pieces after a meteor crashed through damaging like 30 buildings and actually injuring several people!  The video is wild to watch!  JUST LIKE A MOVIE! Then now we hear NASA is tracking a huge ASTROID that is hurling right at Earth!  So the report stands it will be a "Fly By" and no need to put on saftey goggles this time!  lol

It got us talking about movies ..  Remember Bruce Willis in "Armageddon?" Or how about Tei Leoni & Morgan Freeman's "Deep Impact?"  Someone else suggested John Cusack's "2012" would be a good rental for the weekend. 

How about you? What other "Life Is Like A Movie" events can you suggest.  Might be worth staying in with Netflix or something On Demand...  Do you have one?
