Don't you love those mornings that go completely differnt than planned?  So ... Maybe that's a bit more sarcastic than optimistic, but sure does keep you on your toes!  Speaking of toes...  I was so excited to wear my new Calvin Klein boots that I just got in the mail this week, from that website Joe and I have been telling you about on the air. Well, getting dressed and feeling taller than my normal 5'1" stature was fun, driving to work... Not so much!  Check out these bad boys.. 

The wedge on these things make me feel like I'm wearing boots once owned by the Rock Group KISS!  Remember those massive wedges?!  Well, finally had to kick em off in the car, so I could actually press the gas without getting stuck!  Yeah.  Never knew shoes could be a hazzard.  Sexy, but oh so hazzardous!  Ha!

But that wasn't even the craziest part of this morning.  My cool, pink curling iron that has been with me since my college days finally quit on me!  I couldn't believe it!  It's been my trusted ol buddy through so many of my adult hair phases.. Long and Curly back in the hair metal days, Short and Sassy after divorce when I felt I needed a change, and even lately as I hang on to the youth and glamour I crave with my long locks or, what my daughter calls... "Mommy's Hair Cave!"  Yes.. She says when I get all hair sprayed up, I look like I'm in a cave!  lol  She's a witty one!  ;0)

So long and stringy is today's hair fare! What next?  My VCR or turn table goes out?!  Nope!  That would never happen..  Now, that's technology you can trust!  I may have to update my iPhone every two years, but that is technology that will be around with cockroaches and Cher long after life on earth ceases to exist!  

Now that's what I call optimism... Or is it still sarcasm?  Hmmmm Not sure I know the difference on that one!
