Bob Marley said This of friends...  “The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for.”  Many of us probably agree to an extent, that it is true.

And often you hear from the great leaders of the world that to be great, you must surround yourself with great people.  With that said, many moms are busier than ever these days. I'll go so far as to say that it's probably not just working moms that feel that way, but all people, everywhere!  So it is a pleasure when once in a great while, I get to hook up with friends for a quick bite and some inspiration!

So next to me is Kelli Masters.  Aside from being incredibly impressive as a former Miss Oklahoma and a partner at her law firm, this girl wroked hard to be come an NFL agent!  One of the ONLY WOMEN in this country that is. The ONLY ONE in Oklahoma that I know of.

Across the table are two of the most beautiful girls (inside and out) that are the top organizers, fundraisers and media contacts for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-Oklahoma! What amazing hearts they have as well as incredible gift for the business side of this organization.

I have been blessed to have friends from way back in grade school and like these girls, friends that I've made much more recently.  However, I agree with what C.S. Lewis once said... 

   “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” 

It matters more that we're "on the same page!" There really is nothing better than someone who is like-minded to share your thoughts with.  And from time to time, to talk nonsense with, and to have your nonsense respected.
