This years Independence Day holiday celebration in Yukon will be packed with various activities at Chisholm Trail Park, 500 W. Vandament and City Park, 2200 S. Holly. Firework shows are planned on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. We are offering a big celebration this year with fireworks on two nights, explains Jim Crosby, Yukon City Manager. AYukon is a great place to live and people don’t have to drive out of town for a great family celebration. We have wonderful parks and facilities in our community. I want to encourage everyone to pack their lawn chairs, load up the family and come to the park for a great time. Admission is free to all events.
